So, um… we are already a quarter through 2019. Actual insanity. I thought I’d reflect a little bit and share with you the new products I’ve been loving for the last 3 months.
Kosas Cream Duo
Kosas, in general, has blown my mind hole. I adore the Tinted Face Oil and shared a cute little review right here. But I thought it was the Cream duo’s time to shine. Having fallen deeply in love with all things cream, this little baby is the absolute pinnacle of the category. Boasting the creamiest formula I ever did try, the Colour & Light Creme duo melts into the skin, leaving behind the most gorgeous natural looking flush and highlight. It is ridiculously easy to blend and a fabulous starting point for those a little intimidated by cream products. It is foolproof.
Nudestix Nudies Matte All Over Face Colour in Sunkissed
I really love Nudestix. The more I embrace natural, glowy sheer coverage, Nudestix seems to feature more in my daily routine. This new shade release, Sunkissed, could be described as a warm coral bronze. Despite it being marketed as a bronzer, the reddish tone certainly would have prevented me from using it as such. But, as luck would have it, the forever endearing creator of the brand, Taylor Frankel (!!!) applied this to my little potato face. Taylor Frankel did my makeup! Taylor, all beautiful and effortless and me, a little clueless potato. Anyway… It looked so so so glorious and bronzey and I haven’t stopped using it since. It adds incredible depth and warmth to the face, that makes you look like you’ve spent the last week at a Grecian beach.
Ole Henriksen Glow2Oh Toner
I don’t know why I haven’t shared this little blue miracle in a bottle before, because it is the tits. Full of high-potency AHA’s, this baby gets to work at fading lines, spots, and pigmentation in one easy swipe. It is super gentle (no stinging) smells like lemon meringue and ridiculously effective. I noticed results on my stubborn pregnancy-induced pigmentation after just one week.

Before and After (Sorry they are in the wrong order) using Ole Henriksen Glow2OH Toner for 1 month. Stubborn pregnancy melasma under eye has faded, along with uneven skin tone.
Sol De Janeiro Coco Cabana Cream
Okay, so… this is the most exquisite body cream I have ever used. And I mean ever. The fragrance is absolutely intoxicating. It smells like some kind of delicious coconutty cookie that just makes me wanna sniff my limbs all damn day. I can’t stand sweet artificial coconut scent, but this is not even close. I must admit on first sniff, I wasn’t blown away but as soon as I spread this gloriously light, but hydrating cream all over my body I was sold. When I wear this I can forgo perfume and I still get compliments all day. It is hydrating, quickly absorbed, makes my skin so soft and smells like a goddamn treat. Absolute must have. I am buzzing on the inside waiting for the Coco Cabana Body Spray to be released.
NARS Skin Deep Palette
To say my house is a madhouse in the morning is an understatement. Trying to get both myself and Louie ready for a day of work and daycare while trying to guzzle as much coffee as I can is hectic, to say the least. So when it comes to doing my makeup, I need something that is simple, reliable and basically impossible to get wrong. Enter this very clever little palette. The shades work on so many levels, allowing for so many different looks, all while still being work appropriate. The quality is up to NARS’ consistently high standard. See here for swatches and an in-depth review.
IGK Hair
I don’t mention hair products all that often because I am hella lazy when it comes to hair. I’m a wash, air dry and hope for the best kind gal. But, I have been all about hair lately. IGK had piqued my interest a while back. Their fun branding and interesting, no fuss kind of products looked just my style. I have been loving their Low Key Walnut Scrub. It smells bloody amazing and gives my scalp and hair a much needed deep clean and detox. It exfoliates and removes build up (I’m looking at you, weeks worth of dry shampoo), all while improving the overall health of the scalp and hair. This is such an enjoyable weekly treatment.
Secondly, is a newer product from the IGK range, which hasn’t quite dropped in Sephora yet… Soz. Cry Baby Hair Serum is a super innovative hair product that has been inspired by skincare. Acting like a richly nourishing oil but in the form of a lightweight serum. Cry Baby is ideal for my dry, but super fine locks. It adds shine, softness and that TV-ad like swishiness to my hair without weighing it down. You use it on dry hair to eliminate frizz and to give your hair a boost. Just beautiful.
Dying to get my grubby little mitts on more IGK prodz. I have my eye on you, Rich Kid.
Ultra Violette
This has been the beauty discovery of the year thus far. Finally, a sunscreen that ticks all of my boxes. It is lightweight, comfortable and super high in SPF. Peter Thomas Roth 24K Gold Pure Hydra Eye Patch
These are glorious. My poor little sleep deprived eyes, often need a little more loving than the rest of me, and these beautiful gold patches do the job. And they do it well. You can feel them get to work as soon as you put them on. In under 10 minutes, my eyes are firmer, lifted and a whole lot less tired looking. From start to finish, this process is a real treat. I look forward to popping these under my eyes and taking 10 minutes to myself. Heaven.
Forever Favourites
In addition to these shiny new favourties, there are also the staples that aren’t so new, but are used to absolute death. Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Dim Light. I use this all over my face, every day to add that lit-from-within glow. Hourglass Confessions Lipsticks are my favourite lipstick formula ever – and that is saying something. Creamy, comfortable and pigmented. Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base is quite possibly the most dreamy and luxurious primer ever. It is an absolute treat to use. I’ll wear it most day regardless of whether or not I’m wearing makeup.

I’ve updated the post to include shots of the results of using the OH toner for one month
I’ve been wanting to get into cream products (in the past whenever I tried – their application put me off). Kosas has definitely intrigued me into trying out cream products.
